Pretty Sound Records confirm details of Mid-Month Mash-Up party

Milton Keynes-based label PrettySound Records has announced plans for its second Mid-Month Mash-Up party.

The event will take place in the Slug and Lettuce bar in the Theatre District on February 17th, starting from 7:30pm, and is free to enter. Two acts have also been confirmed, in the shape of the Wycombe-based acoustic rock project Tony Goff Band, and electronic outfit Ulysses Wells.

Co-founder & full-time creative director Josh Payne said, “The [Mid-Month Mash-Up] launch party was a huge success. We got the chance to meet some seriously talented people & listen to some really cool music. When it came to planning this year’s events, we were adamant to keep to all of the promises we’ve made.”

Payne also confirmed they wanted the event to maintain a hybrid of open mic and set bands. He continued, “We’re keeping the open stage part, to give everyone the chance to get up and play. We’ve also booked in a couple of acts who are honestly going to blow your minds.”

The label have also announced that its signed artist Billy Nomad will be the night’s host, and some merchandise shall be launched at the show.

Payne added, “On top of that, we’re launching our merchandise range on the same night; nothing big, just a few badges. We’ll have a couple of PSR brand badges & a few designs inspired by our artists. You’ll love them!”
